“The Taking f Pelham One Two Three” è un thriller tratto dal romanzo di Morton Freedgood e dai due adattamenti cinematografici che ne sono stati precedentemente tratti nel 1974 (titolo italiano: “Il colpo della metropolitana”, con Walter Matthau) e nel 1998.
La Columbia Pictures ha affidato la regia di questo remake a Tony Scott ed ha messo sotto contratto per i ruoli principali James Gandolfini, John Travolta e Denzel Washington.
